HIS BANNER OVER ME IS LOVE

I gotta be honest with you... my creative abilities are somewhat limited.

So when it came to developing the Cruxifit logo - I knew it had to have a cross! The problem is, almost every other Christian brand is also sporting a cross. 

The image I was continually drawn to was the Agnus-Dei or Lamb of God. 

The Lamb is one of the many paradoxes of God. 

It is not how one would imagine a King who would come to destroy evil, sin, suffering and death!

Instead of a King leading an army, it is God himself - alone - no army - just himself! Offering himself up as a sacrifice to redeem us - the sacrificial lamb with all the glory and power of the Godhead.

In our human minds, a lamb representing God would be furthest from our minds as it is the most vulnerable of creatures. And if Satan had known this, neither would he have egged on the crowds to turn on Jesus! 

Yet, it is this lamb who sit on the throne. It is the blood of this lamb which redeems us and give us the victory. The mind of God is too wonderful to comprehend!

It is the Lamb of God who takes centre stage and I have chosen his banner because his banner over me is love (Song of Songs 2:4). It is a love that is so strong that it does not flinch in the face of torment and death.

His banner is our working logo that will kick off the CRUXIFIT brand. A banner is also a rallying point to join with other disciples of Jesus Christ.

The Lamb is our HERO logo that will appear on special collections. That logo will be revealed in time.
